Sara Bartolomeo, our General Manager, has been with Shoreline since 2006, only 3 years after we opened! She was the 8th employee to ever join the team and we are so grateful she did. She was recently promoted to General Manager after being our Operations and Customer service manager for many years. She started out in the yard assembling fence panels and learning to use our routers (she’s a certified CMM operator, an honor that not many people at Shoreline hold), she had to show all the guys how it’s done! She also received her certification in CAD drawings and helped design all of our original fence styles. Now she just celebrated her 15 years with the company. We truly could not run this company without Sara. She is probably one of the hardest working people on the planet. Good luck trying to catch her at her desk, if she’s not on the phone with production, customers, or vendors, she’s out on the floor pulling orders! Sara has a husband and one son. Her favorite things include spending time with her family and friends, watching every true crime documentary under the sun (she likes to tell us that she’s “solving mysteries”), playing games or trivia (she’s very competitive), and jamming to her favorite music (or coming up with her own versions of songs)!
Angel Nagel, an outside sales representative for fencing, has been with Shoreline since the very start of 2020. She served the Army National Guard from 1995-2001 and then went on to have a 17 year sales career before joining Shoreline. Angel has an adventurous spirit, she is willing to do anything and everything. She is fun and light hearted and excels at everything she does! She is also a foodie and loves to find hole-in-the-wall places on her travels. Angel is a mom to one dog named Journey (our top performing employee) and to a cat named Willow. She loves entertaining us with her funny videos of Journey and Willow getting into playful brawls over who gets to sit by the window. Her favorite things include spending time with her family, cycling, boating, racing, and watching her nieces and nephews play ball.
Erika Thompson, an Inside Sales rep for Fencing, has been with Shoreline since 2021. She started as a receptionist and accounts receivable clerk and moved to sales after a few months. Starting in the middle of the pandemic and in the midst of the busiest year we have ever had definitely would not have been easy for anyone, but for Erika, she wasn’t phased! She never works without a smile on her face and is willing to help anyone who needs her. She always gives a warm welcome to anyone who approaches her desk. She always goes out of her way to bring in the seasonal cheer. Almost every time she goes into a store she comes back with something to spruce up the office for whatever the next holiday is, and it brightens up everyone’s week! Erika is also a hair stylist for a local salon, so not only does she keep us all organized, she keeps us looking good too! She loves running with her dog Indie, listening to podcasts, baking, and crafting.
Anthony Casey, our Railing Account Manager, has been with Shoreline since 2008. He graduated from the University of Maryland College Park School of Public Policy in 2019. Since the beginning of his career at Shoreline, his specialty has always been vinyl railing and pergolas, but he is great at selling anything we give him! Considering he handles hundreds of lumber yard accounts all over the east coast, you could say he is pretty well known in our industry. While that is a great accomplishment by itself, we also have to recognize Anthony for all he does for our local community. He has been a Town of Ridgely Maryland commissioner since 2010. Soon after that, he was appointed as an advisory board member for the Caroline County Economic Development Co. and as the Vice President for the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce. He also joined the Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department as an administrative member. Anthony has a wife, two sons, two dogs, and four cats! In 2018, he started a county wide sock drive with his family. Since its inception they have collected thousands of socks for local homeless shelters in our community. He enjoys spending time with his family and teaching his sons about the importance of helping others. He also works with his family to help deliver meals with Neighbors United to Serve to feed those in need. Some of his favorite hobbies include community outreach, golfing, fishing, and tennis!
Edward “Ed” Mejias Jr, an Outside Sales Representative for Railing, has been with Shoreline since fall of 2020. He lives in New Jersey and services all of our lumber yards in the northeast region. Ed received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2014 from St. Peters University. During his time there he played D1 baseball and was the captain of the team! He also completed his Master’s degree in Business Management with a Human Resource concentration in 2015 from Stony Brook University. Ed also volunteered for the Big Brother program for Jersey City. Edward is a team player and an integral part of our tremendous sales growth over the past year. He has built a great relationship with all the lumber yards in his network and his customers have nothing but great things to say about him! His family includes his father, Ed Sr.; his mother, Susan; his sister, Ashley; his brother Ashton; and their dog named Pepe! His favorite things include golf, basketball, baseball, football, and hockey!
Amanda Coursey, an inside sales representative for fencing, has been with Shoreline since 2016. She started out as our receptionist and moved to inside sales in 2020 and started in Fencing, she moved to wolf sales in 2023 ↗️. After graduating from North Caroline High School in 2009 she went to school for child care 🍼 and worked in a preschool until she joined us at Shoreline. Amanda is a woman of many talents and is always lending a helping hand wherever she’s needed 🤝. She’s a fast learner and always willing to learn something new about our industry 📖. She adapted quickly to the change of pace that sales brings and is doing awesome serving our customers! She is also the sweetest person you’d probably ever meet 🥰. Amanda has a husband and two sons 👨👩👦👦. She loves spending time with her kids 🤱, going out on the boat ⛵️, thrift shopping 🛍, and going on trips to NYC with her mom 👯♀️🏙!
Kimberly “Kippy” Wingo, our Office Production Manager, has been with Shoreline since 2015. She started out as our receptionist and moved to inside sales shortly after, a few years later she became our Senior Fence estimator. Now she is in charge of internal production and overseeing our vinyl fence production. She graduated from North Caroline High School in 2007 then attended Tri-State Tech in 2010 where she completed her EKG and Phlebotomy certification. Her attention to detail and fast and friendly service is what makes her customers love her! She’s outdoorsy and creative and has a lot of fun with whatever she's working on. She has a husband named Brad and a fur baby named Clementine. Her favorite things include spending time with her friends and family, cooking, canning, crafting, and fishing!
Adolfo Lopez Diaz, our Shoreline Railing Supervisor, has been with Shoreline since 2015. When he started working for us he did a little bit of everything like packaging pickets and posts, cutting aluminum, running the machines, and packing assembly boxes. Adolfo says “in the beginning the company was very small, there were only a few people working and there were only 3 lines - Shoreline Fence, Shoreline Rail, and Wolf Rail. If you look at it now, it is full of different lines and many workers.” Once Shoreline started to expand, we quickly realized we would need team leaders to help the supervisors run the many specific areas within their departments. Adolfo was perfect for this job because he had been with us since we were small and he had experience doing all aspects of the railing department. He settled right into being Carlos' right hand man and we couldn't run that department without either one of them! His favorite things include basketball, swimming, running, walking, and bike riding!
Carlos René Ramirez, our Warehouse Supervisor, has been with Shoreline since 2007, almost as long as we’ve been a company! Carlos moved from Guatemala in 2003 and started working for us a few years later as a vinyl fence assembler. He is an exceptionally hard worker and has always gone above and beyond for our company. He is great at leading and taking care of his team and knows everything there is to know about vinyl railing. He is very smart and loves taking on special projects for us like painting, renovating, cleaning the yard, repairs, and more! He always comes to work dressed-to-impress and is very organized because he excels in keeping our yard looking its best and coming up with new ways to make his team more efficient. Carlos is our go-to guy when it comes to fast orders, if a customer needs it quickly he's on it to get it out the door!
